INVENTORY
All participants must have reflectors or a reflective vest and a mobile phone.
It is recommended to have a lamp, compass, backpack, protractor or ruler with you. Those starting on bicycles must wear a hard surface helmet, a white light and a red flashing light on the bike. Cyclists are advised to have a lock for added safety in some KPs.
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS:
The team with the most points wins. If the team scores the same number of points, the team with the shortest time wins. The finish time is recorded after the second participant has punched the finish control. During the race, the distance between team members cannot be more than 100 meters. A team that does not fit into the control time loses 10 points for each minute late.
Determining KP points: The first KP number is multiplied by ten. For example: 31KP in the area will be valued at 30 points, 32KP - 30 points, 45KP - 40 points, 79KP - 70 points...
INFORMATION:
Map format SRA3 size, scale 1:20,000 - 1:30,000. Checkpoints with "6" - eg: 26, 36, 61,... are very inconvenient for cyclists.
The maps will be printed on waterproof paper, but participants must take care of their additional security. SI-cards will be attached to the arm (wrist) of all participants. The attachment of SI cards can be optionally checked before the start. CLEAR and SI-Air ON cleaning stations will be placed in the starting area. After the finish SI cards will be removed by the referees. A penalty of 200 points for a card that has been cut from the hand. If the checkpoint is not found (improperly placed, stolen) or if the checkpoint is not working (it is not possible to sign out using the e-system), the team must write an SMS message with their team number and KP number to the emergency phone indicated. More detailed information about the competitions and tracks will be published later on the competition page http://www.rogaining.lt
SAFETY
The competition is held in the urban and rural area, so the organizers warn of increased security risks - car traffic will not be stopped, there will be no help and judges on the track. Athletes are responsible for their own health and safety. Traffic rules must be followed during the competition! If the referee sees a team violating the KET, the team will be disqualified.
By registering, the participant confirms that he participates in the competition at his own risk and is fully responsible for his health, is familiar with the rules of the competition, knows and will follow the traffic rules, is physically fully prepared for the three- or six-hour competition.
